Random Cuteness

So I skipped an entire month. I could say not much happened but that would be a total lie. Seven weeks is a very long time with kids. Oma and Opa visited us and helped us get things done. Easter came and went. Mason has become an exclusively bottle-fed baby. He has TWO teeth (which is why he is now an exclusively bottle-fed baby!)

So Maddie has moved into a new classroom at daycare and has settled in nicely. At first we think she was picked on by some older boys who called her "baby" and not in a good way. So she started calling all of us baby. We are almost out of that phase, thankfully.

Mason has been eating or gnawing on everything in site. His toys, all kinds of baby food (thanks Oma for the homemade squash --yummy). He will chew on any available fingers and has managed to move Puffs from the high chair tray to his mouth!

He has the most hysterical baby laugh, kind of like an old man. His face lights up when he sees me, Maddie or Frank. He is truly a happy and content baby. We are so blessed to have him and that he and Maddie love each other.

We are literally gearing up to go to Germany this summer; buying a few needed luggage and kid travel items. Anyone have any "flying on a plane" books to share?? Maddie is super-excited about going to Germany and visiting Oma and Opa at their house. And Frank's high school reunion and his friend Jochen's wedding will keep us busy while we are there.

So here in random order are the highlights of our last seven weeks....but who's counting.

Mason eating an egg -- not really. But he was tired and fussy and this was as close to "egg hunting" as he got.

Maddie enjoying strawberries at Great Grandmama's house for the annual Easter gathering.

Silly Maddie

Mason trying Puffs. He likes them now, trust me...

Oops, went past the Puff and right for the finger. Yummy!

Maddie trying to show me her clean tongue after teeth brushing.

Kisses

Laughing

Almost....crawling...
